Joker is up for adoption through Rainbow Animal Rescue. He is estimated to be 12 months old (in November 2025) and weighs 57 pounds. He is neutered, heartworm negative, and up-to-date on vaccines.

Joker was at Nash County Shelter for a couple of months and is scared of loud noises and is timid meeting strangers. I think he likes Tonka (see video).

Adoption Application Form
Before you can adopt one of the dogs you need to complete our Adoption Application Form. Applications must be submitted and vetting/personal references must be checked before an adoption is completed. You will not be able to adopt a puppy or dog if you do not have a verified application. Pre-approved applications have priority over new applications. Due to lack of volunteer time, we are only able to answer questions from prospective adopters that have filled out an application form.
